Pickleball, played by pickles.

A fast, funny arcade sports game in the spirit of the classic handheld tennis games. One thumb on the D-pad, one on the buttons. Real pickleball rules, six very different pickles, and a Cup to win.

Answers to the questions players ask most.

How do I restore my Full Game purchase?

Open Pickle Time, go to Options and tap Restore Purchase. You can also tap Unlock Full Game and then Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.

On Steam, the full game is included, so there's nothing to restore.

How do I remove ads?

Buy the Full Game once ($2.99 in the US). It removes all ads for good and unlocks the full Pickle Cup, four more pickles and two more courts. The Steam version has no ads.

How do I play a friend online?

Tap Play Online, then Create Private Lobby. Tap Invite a Friend to send a link, or read them the 4-letter lobby code. Your friend taps Join With Code and enters it. When they're in, tap Start Match.

On Steam, use Invite Steam Friends in the lobby, or have your friend choose Join Game on your name in their Steam friends list.

Can iPhone, Android and Steam players play each other?

Yes. Quick Match, lobbies and invite codes all work across iPhone, Android and PC. Online matches use rally scoring to 11, and auto-run is turned off so both players move themselves.

What are the controls?

Phone: the D-pad moves, A hits a topspin drive, B hits a soft shot, and A then B quickly is a lob. Press early to charge a shot.

PC: arrows or WASD move, Z is A, X is B, Esc pauses and F11 switches fullscreen. Controllers and Steam Deck work too.

How do I reset my progress?

Go to Options and tap Reset Progress twice. This clears your stats and unlocked pickles on that device. A Full Game purchase stays unlocked.

Privacy policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

Pickle Time is a game made by JBP AppWorks LLC. We built it so that it doesn't need anything from you.

What we collect

JBP AppWorks does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, analytics or tracking of our own in the game.

Ads in the free mobile version

The free iPhone and Android version shows occasional ads from Google AdMob: a short ad between some matches, and optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward. Ads never appear during a match.

To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location and how you interact with ads. On iPhone, you're asked whether to allow tracking; if you say no, ads aren't personalized. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you're asked for consent first. Ads are limited to general-audience content. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Buying the Full Game removes all ads. The PC version on Steam has no ads.

Online play

When you choose Play Online, the game connects to the Pickle Time server, which matches you with another player and passes your moves between your devices. It shares only your chosen pickle and your platform (for example iPhone or Steam) with the other player. There are no names, profiles or chat. The server keeps no records of players or matches; like any server, it sees your IP address while you're connected, only to deliver the game. On Steam, invites use your Steam friends list through Steam itself.

Purchases

If you buy the Full Game, Apple (or Google on Android) handles the payment. We never see your name, payment details or account information. The store only tells the app that the Full Game is unlocked.

What stays on your device

Your game settings, stats and unlocked characters are saved only on your device so the game remembers them. They never leave it. You can erase them with Options › Reset Progress, or by deleting the app.

Children

JBP AppWorks collects no data from anyone, including children. Ads in the free version are limited to general-audience content.
